Artists against Alzheimers was a standalone fundraising event produced by Arete Arts in collaboration with Sunnyview Health and Rehabilitation at The Art Center in Butler, PA.

Sunnyview contracted Arete for help booking their annual charity drive in 2016. The first year was a simple standup show with basket raffles at the local bowling alley. By 2017, we combined the same budget with volunteerism to take over 2 floors of the town's most notable art gallery. Over 300 donors attended and we more than doubled our profits raised from the previous year.

The night featured live performances from NYC comedians and musicians as well as visual art displays by local talent.

Arete also fostered a strategic alliance with the American Legion Riders... Robert Punchur's Uncle Muncle and his biker buddies handled security. This will be a reoccurring event in a town where Arete produces Very Good Comedy Shows.
